1. Napa Valley Wine Train’s “Murder Mystery Dinner”

• Location: Napa, CA

• Why It’s Great: Step aboard the historic Napa Valley Wine Train for a night of intrigue, gourmet dining, and vintage ambiance. The "Murder Mystery Dinner" experience lets you become a detective for the night, solving a whodunit while savoring a multi-course meal. Costumes are encouraged, making it a perfect way to embrace the Halloween spirit in style!

2. Napa's Hometown Halloween

• Location: Napa, CA

• Why It’s Great: This is the day for parents to dress their kids (and themselves, if they wish) in their Halloween finest, and come Downtown to Trick or Treat. Between 11 and 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 26^th, the sidewalks will be packed with children looking for a sweet handout. Over 100 businesses will be displaying black and orange balloons at their doors, an invitation for kids to visit. The odds are really good that they will get a treat, not a trick. Even if you don’t have children, get yourself a coffee or cool drink, find a good place to sit, and watch the fun. 3. Halloween Weekend Harvest Market

• Location: Napa, CA

• Why It’s Great: Also on October 26th, from 12 PM to 4:00 PM, enjoy seasonal activities like pumpkin painting, face painting, and Halloween-themed music by DJ Brian Indelicato at First Street Napa.

4. Halloween Masquerade at Buena Vista Winery

• Location: Sonoma, CA

• Why It’s Great: Gather the whole family and enjoy a festive Halloween parade through downtown Napa. Local businesses and residents go all out with creative costumes and spooky floats. Plus, there’s trick-or-treating for the kids and plenty of photo ops to capture those Halloween memories.

5. Pumpkin Picking at Stanly Lane Pumpkin Patch

• Location: Napa, CA

• Why It’s Great: This family-friendly pumpkin patch offers a classic fall experience with a wide selection of pumpkins, gourds, and seasonal decorations. Kids can enjoy hayrides, and parents can sip on a cup of cider while searching for the perfect pumpkin to carve.

6. Hallo-WINE JAM Party

• Location: Napa

• Why It’s Great: Eat, drink and be scary at the annual Hallo-Wine JaMBash! JAM is throwing an incredible costume party in downtown Napa and you’re invited. 7. Calistoga’s Harvest Fair

• Why It’s Great: Celebrate! Napa Valley Presents Calistoga Harvest Fair: an intimate outdoor marketplace to celebrate the harvest season. The fair will include a maker's market, local food, wine, beer, fall themed activities, family costume contests, and live performances throughout the day.

8. Napa Ghost Tours

• Location: Napa, CA

• Why It’s Great: Meet the ghostly residents who walked on the wild side in early downtown Napa City! Ladies of the evening, and enterprising men who sold dreams and made bank. We will share stories of life in the Napa Asylum, disturbing past. Journey with us around Main Street, First Street and up into what was once the Red Light District in town. We will also share stories of Chinatown, and obscure fascinating facts! As always, we will serve our ghost tour up with a sense of humor, and provide tools of the trade to detect the ghosts.
