The Bel Aire Neighborhood is a neighborhood in North Napa bounded on the west by Byway East and Harkness Street, on the south by Trancas Street, on the east by Jefferson Street, and on the north by Valencia Street. It has quiet, tree-lined, wide residential streets with active bustling commercial centers. The Bel Aire Neighborhood has easy access to the highway and up-valley locations. It was primarily agricultural fields and orchards prior to development in the 1950s. The Bel Aire shopping center is the most popular shopping center in Napa hosting Whole Foods, Trader Joes, several restaurants, Cost Plus, Pet Food Supply, Target and a local hardware store. Jefferson and Trancas are two of the main thoroughfares through Napa.
