Browns Valley is one of the largest neighborhoods in Napa which is divided into four different areas: Central, East, South and West. Browns Valley encompasses a large area of west Napa bordering the western, southern & northern city limit lines and bound to the east by the Napa Creek & Hwy 29. It was originally part of a large valley of farms with mainly orchards and prunes. Browns Valley Road was named and was one of the first improved roads in western Napa in 1911. That improvement was paid for by the neighbors that the road serviced. It is known for its family friendly neighborhoods and parks & enjoys a great sense of community. The Browns Valley shopping center is the neighborhood hub and home to businesses such as Browns Valley Market, well known by locals for its deli meat department and farm fresh produce, a local coffee shop, upscale hair salon, chocolatier, dry cleaner, and Hop Creek Pub, a family friendly restaurant & bar.
In Brown Valley South, you’ll enjoy views of vineyards and rolling hills. Browns Valley West is located in the hills with sweeping views and a range of older developments and new construction. Homes in this area area range from mid-size to large and are primarily all single family homes with some newer townhomes sprinkled in the Eastern section. This is a highly desirable area of Napa to live with a good elementary school and variety of living options.
